Description

This activity consists of 2 separate video topics for hyperbaric technologists and nurses: (1) Gases and Pressure. The properties of Oxygen, Nitrogen, Air, Carbon Dioxide, and Carbon Monoxide are discussed. The concepts of pressure and pressure conversions are discussed. Presenter-Robert Sheffield (21 min). (2) Gas Laws. The concepts of Boyle’s, Charles’, Guy-Lussac’s, Dalton’s, and Henry’s law are presented. Sample problems are used to show the calculations of the gas laws.
